In Wednesday's league challenge, the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) baseball squad triumphed over the host Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD), by a final score of 12-2.

With the win, Wise upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Pumas host Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to encounter the Panthers in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Parkdale lost 25-1 in their recent league challenge against Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD)

With the defeat, Northwestern falls to 0-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Bowie (Bowie, MD) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
