Utah High School Soccer - Lone Peak held off by Corner Canyon
March 30, 2022: Highland, UT 84003 The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) and the host Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), saw Corner Canyon's soccer squad get by Lone Peak by a count of 1-0.
The Chargers now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Skyridge for a 6A Region 4 test on Friday, April 1. Corner Canyon will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Murray (Murray, UT). The Falcons record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Lone Peak drops to 4-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT) to meet the Vikings in a 6A Region 4 test on Friday, April 1. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 5-3. Pleasant Grove lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT)
