Girard Indians (Girard, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH), 8-2 in a league test.

With the win, Girard upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Lakeview (Cortland, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Northeast Eight Athletic test on Monday, April 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-1. Lakeview won 5-4 in their recent league test against South Range (Canfield, OH)

With the defeat, McKinley falls to 0-2 on the season. The Red dragons host Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, March 31. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-2. Mineral Ridge lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH)
