Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 15-2 in a league test.

With the win, Middle Creek upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, April 6. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 10-3. Wake Forest won 11-0 in their recent league test against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC)

With the defeat, Green Hope falls to 5-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Friday, March 31. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-6. Cape Hatteras lost 8-3 in their recent league test against Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC)
