In Thursday's league game, the host Hobbton Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 18-1 victory over the Union Spartans.

The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their game against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels go into the Carolina 1A game with a 9-2 record.

The Spartans (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars go into the Carolina 1A game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Neuse Charter was overwhelmed by Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 11-3, in a league game.
