Maryland High School Baseball - Wootton defeats Seneca Valley
March 30, 2023: Germantown, MD 20874 Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), 11-3 in a league test.
With the win, Wootton upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Whitman (Bethesda, MD) to battle the Vikings in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Saturday, April 1. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-1. Whitman lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Northwest (Germantown, MD)
With the defeat, Seneca Valley falls to 1-3 on the season. The Screamin' eagles travel to Northwest (Germantown, MD) to battle the Jaguars in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Saturday, April 1. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-2. Northwest won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Whitman (Bethesda, MD)
