South Carolina High School Soccer - Lugoff-Elgin knocks off Irmo
March 30, 2023: Columbia, SC 29212 Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Irmo Yellowjackets (Columbia, SC), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Demons confront the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 3. Lugoff-Elgin will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Silver Foxes enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 1-0 league win over White Knoll (Lexington, SC).
The Yellowjackets now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host A.C. Flora for a challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Irmo will confront a Falcons team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 10-1.
