Illinois High School Baseball - Sterling loses to Geneseo
March 30, 2023: Geneseo, IL 61254 The Geneseo Maple Leafs crushed the visiting Sterling Golden Warriors baseball team by a count of 10-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Maple Leafs now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kewanee for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 2.
Next, the Golden Warriors face the Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) in a bout, on Saturday, April 1. Sterling will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Rocks enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 16-2 non-league loss to Orion (Orion, IL).
