Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Corinth upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a 5A Region 1 test on Tuesday, April 2. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-9. Clarksdale lost 17-7 in their recent league test against West Point (West Point, MS)
