The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL) and the visiting Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL), observed Walton's softball team prevail over Altha by a tally of 18-1.

The Braves (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against Freeport (Freeport, FL). The Bulldogs go into the 2A District 1 bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Freeport was routed by Bozeman (Panama City, FL), 10-0, in a league bout.
