The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) and the host St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC), observed Bishop O'Connell's softball team prevail over St. John's by a tally of 12-0.

The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Knights enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's Ryken thwarted Webster Thomas (Webster, NY), 17-6, in a non-league contest.

The Cadets now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 31. St. John's will face a Falcons squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.
