March 31, 2022: Covington, LA 70433 Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA), 8-1 in a league test.
With the win, Archbishop Hannan upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Hawks host De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Cavalier in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Cavalier come into the test with a record of 4-5. De La Salle won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA)
With the defeat, Sumner falls to 10-9 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to battle the Hornets in a 3A District 8 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-11.
