Arizona High School Softball - Monument Valley bounces Red Mesa
March 31, 2022: Kayenta, AZ 86033 Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holbrook for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. Monument Valley will face a Roadrunners squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Winslow (Winslow, AZ). The Roadrunners record now stands at 8-12.
With the loss, Red Mesa falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Joseph City won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ)
