Alabama High School Softball - St. Michael Catholic bounces Williamson
March 31, 2022: Fairhope, AL 36526 St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their softball squad prevail over the visiting Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL), 18-0 in a league match.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to W.S. Neal for a 4A Area 1 match on Tuesday, April 5. St. Michael Catholic will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-13.
With the loss, Williamson moves to 1-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Escambia County (Atmore, AL) to face the Blue Devils in a 4A Area 1 match on Monday, April 4. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 0-1. Escambia County lost 16-1 in their recent non-league match against Bryant (Irvington, AL)
