In Friday's league game, the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Saugus Centurions.

The Grizzlies (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Oxnard (Oxnard, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Oxnard was nipped by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 4-1, in a league contest.

The Centurions now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host Grace Brethren for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 1. Saugus will play a Lancers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-6.
