Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Round Valley upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Elks travel to Pinon (Pinon, AZ) to battle the Eagles in a 2A North test on Monday, April 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-7. Pinon lost 11-2 in their recent non-league test against Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ)

With the defeat, San Tan Foothills falls to 9-5 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Sabino (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Sabercats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Sabercats come into the test with a record of 9-6. Sabino lost 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)
