The Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) volleyball nudged the visiting Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Mountain View betters its record to 8-9 on the year. The Spartans travel to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Monday, April 3. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 4-11. Los Gatos lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)

The Vikings now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fremont for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 1. Lynbrook will face a Firebirds squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Firebirds record now stands at 7-9.
