March 31, 2023: Greenwood, SC 29646 The Chester Cyclones softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Emerald Vikings to 2 in the Cyclones league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Chester moves its record to 4-8 on the year. The Cyclones travel to Clinton (Clinton, SC) to clash with the Red Devils in a AAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, April 11. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 1-3. Clinton lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Whitmire (Whitmire, SC)
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) in a AAA Region 4 game, on Tuesday, April 11. Emerald will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record.
