Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kings Mountain for a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Crest will battle a Mountaineers squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Forestview falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to battle the Storm in a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 5-6.
