Virginia High School Softball - Loudoun Valley holds off Dominion
March 31, 2023: Purcellville, VA 20132 The crowd at Friday's league match between the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) and the visiting Dominion Titans (Sterling, VA), saw Loudoun Valley's softball squad nip Dominion by a count of 5-3.
The Vikings now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodgrove for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. Loudoun Valley will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Dominion falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 7-0. Briar Woods won 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Millbrook (Winchester, VA)
