March 31, 2023: Forney, TX 75126 Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Jackrabbits now sport a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ennis for a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Forney will face a Lions squad coming off a 9-5 league win over Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Lions record now stands at 17-13.
With the loss, Red Oak falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Hawks host Lancaster (Lancaster, TX) to face the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Lancaster lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Forney (Forney, TX)
