Louisiana High School Baseball - Ouachita Parish loses to Cedar Creek
March 31, 2025: Monroe, LA 71203 Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA), 7-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Cedar Creek advances its record to 11-14 on the season. The Cougars travel to Glenbrook (Minden, LA) to battle the Apaches in a 1A District 1 match on Friday, April 4. The Apaches come into the match with a record of 12-9. Glenbrook won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA)
The Lions now have a 5-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Ouachita for a 4A District 2 match on Tuesday, April 1. Ouachita Parish will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 15-8.
