Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA), 3-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Ouachita Parish advances its record to 6-22 on the season. The Lions travel to Pineville (Pineville, LA) to battle the Rebels in a 5A District 2 match on Thursday, April 10. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 13-14. Pineville won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA)
