In Monday's non-league game, the host Mendota Trojans baseball team scored a close 10-4 win over the Plano Reapers.

The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm go into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Bureau Valley was overwhelmed by Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL), 11-1, in a non-league game.
