March 31, 2025: Swampscott, MA 01907 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Manchester Essex Hornets softball team scored a tight 8-6 win over the Swampscott Big Blue.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Boston Latin Academy (Dorchester, MA). The Dragons come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Boston Latin Academy nipped Minuteman Regional (Lexington, MA), 10-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Big Blue confront the Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) in a Northeast match, on Wednesday, April 2. Swampscott will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
