Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) and the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), observed Payson's baseball squad overcome Apache Junction by a final score of 11-0.

With the triumph, Payson moves its record to 8-6 on the season. The Longhorns host ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ) to confront the Warriors in a 3A Metro match on Monday, April 6. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 3-9.

The Prospectors now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Globe for a 3A Central match on Thursday, April 2. Apache Junction will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
