The Mapletown Maples baseball squad (Greensboro, PA), was overwhelmed 19-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Avella Eagles (Avella, PA)

With the triumph, Avella moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles host Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 2. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 1-4. Waynesburg Central lost 5-2 in their recent non-league battle against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA)
