In Tuesday's league bout, the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), by a tally of 8-2.

Next up, the Spartans encounter the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 1. Central Davidson will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Titans go into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).

With the defeat, Montgomery Central drops to 4-7 on the year.
