The Ferris Yellowjackets triumphed over the visiting Venus Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 10-3 in Tuesday's league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alvarado for a 4A Region II District 12 test on Thursday, April 2. Ferris will play a Indians team coming off a 7-4 league win over Godley (Godley, TX). The Indians record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, Venus falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Alvarado (Alvarado, TX) to encounter the Indians in a 4A Region II District 12 outing on Friday, April 10. The Indians enter the outing with a record of 11-5.
