In Tuesday's league test, the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, TX) softball team routed the host Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), by a margin of 8-0.

The Cardinals now sport a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hallettsville for a 3A Region IV District 25 outing on Thursday, April 2. Columbus will encounter a Brahmas team coming off a 14-0 league win over Edna (Edna, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 14-8.
