The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX) and the visiting Junction Eagles (Junction, TX), observed Harper's softball team prevail over Junction by a tally of 18-10.

The Longhorns (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region IV District 28 bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Goldthwaite knocked off San Saba (San Saba, TX), 22-2, in a league bout.
