March 31, 2026: Sussex, NJ 07461 The High Point Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Newton Braves to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vernon for a NJAC - Freedom battle on Thursday, April 2. High Point will confront a Vikings team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Newton falls to 0-1 on the year. The Braves host Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ) to meet the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 2. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Lenape Valley lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ)
