The Asheboro Blue Comets baseball team (Asheboro, NC), was tipped 9-8 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC)

The Warriors now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, March 8. Wheatmore will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

Next, the Blue Comets confront the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 7. Asheboro will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Jets go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
