Dillingham Wolverines (Dillingham, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tanalian Lynx (Port Alsworth, AK), 50-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dillingham upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season.

Next up, the Lynx clash with the Bristol Bay Angels (Naknek, AK) in a 1A Aleutian Chain bout, on Friday, March 4. Tanalian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Angels go into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 31-29 non-league loss to Akiachak (Akiachak, AK).
