Texas High School Softball - Lopez loses to Los Fresnos
March 4, 2022: Brownsville, TX 78521 The Los Fresnos Falcons softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Lopez Lobos to 0 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Los Fresnos improves its record to 9-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to Roma (Roma, TX) to clash with the Gladiators in a non-league game on Friday, March 4. The Gladiators come into the game with a record of 0-1. Roma lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX)
In their next game, the Lobos clash with the Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 game, on Saturday, March 5. Lopez will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 5-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Edinburg (Edinburg, TX).
