South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Lafourche upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Tarpons host Covington (Covington, LA) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-0.

With the defeat, Northlake Christian falls to 1-3 on the season. The Wolverines host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, March 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-1.
