Texas High School Softball - Coppell bounces North Side
March 4, 2023: Coppell, TX 75019 The Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) softball routed the visiting North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX), 13-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cowboys (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Plano West (Plano, TX). The Wolves go into the 6A Region I District 6 bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Plano West notched a victory over South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 7-2, in a non-league bout.
The Steers now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Southwest for a 5A Region I District 6 bout on Monday, March 13. North Side will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 6-10.
