March 4, 2023: Rockport, TX 78381 The Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) softball the visiting Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX), 8-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (10-2) will now prepare for their bout against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region IV District 30 bout with a 6-10 record. In their last bout, Sinton held off Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), 8-0, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Chaparral for a 5A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, March 7. Ellison will confront a Bobcats squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-8.
