March 4, 2025: Rome, GA 30161 The Rome Wolves baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Douglas County Tigers to 2 in the Wolves non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wolves now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Paulding County for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. Rome will play a Patriots team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Rome (Rome, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Douglas County drops to 3-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 2-1. Lithia Springs won 16-1 in their recent non-league test against South Cobb (Austell, GA)
