In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Spanish Springs Cougars baseball team scored a close 8-2 win over the McQueen Lancers.

The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Churchill County was overwhelmed by Douglas (Minden, NV), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
