Georgia High School Soccer - Portal knocks off Bryan County
March 4, 2025: Portal, GA 30450 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Portal Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Bryan County Redskins.
The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers go into the 1A D-II Region 3 outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, McIntosh County Academy by Claxton (Claxton, GA), 10-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Redskins confront the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 outing, on Friday, March 7. Bryan County will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Screven County (Sylvania, GA).
