Georgia High School Soccer - South Cobb toppled by Marietta
March 4, 2025: Marietta, GA 30064 Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Marietta advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to North Paulding (Dallas, GA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a 6A Region 5 test on Friday, March 7. The Wolfpack come into the test with a record of 3-2. North Paulding 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Marist (Atlanta, GA)
The Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. South Cobb will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
