The Middle Creek Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Green Hope Falcons to 6 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Willow Spring for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. Middle Creek will play a Storm team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Storm record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Green Hope drops to 0-4 on the year. The Falcons host Broughton (Raleigh, NC) to play the Capitals in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 5. The Capitals go into the test with a record of 0-3. Broughton lost 21-3 in their recent non-league test against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC)
