Mission Eagles (Mission, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mission advances its record to 8-5 on the campaign.

The Gladiators now have a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martin for a 5A Region 4 District 30 test on Friday, March 7. Roma will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-7.
