The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) and the visiting Aiken Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), observed Spring Valley's softball squad nip Aiken by a score of 13-7.

With the triumph, Spring Valley improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Dreher (Columbia, SC) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 5. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
