The Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL) softball nipped the visiting Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL), 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against South Sumter (Bushnell, FL). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, South Sumter tipped The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL), 4-2, in a non-league bout.
