With the win, Tuscaloosa County moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to battle the Warriors in a 7A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, March 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Thompson won 8-2 in their recent non-league bout against McAdory (McCalla, AL)
In their next game, the Stampede battle the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 7. Paul W. Bryant will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Marbury (Marbury, AL).
