March 25, 2022: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 29. Hillcrest will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 1-1 non-league American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL).
The Stampede now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a 6A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Paul W. Bryant will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Altamont (Birmingham, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-5.
