Alabama High School Softball - Pickens County bounces Holt
March 5, 2022: Reform, AL 35481 Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Holt Ironmen (Holt, AL), 19-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Tornadoes now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mae Jemison for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. Pickens County will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Holt falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Ironmen host West Blocton (West Blocton, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. West Blocton won 25-5 in their recent non-league game against Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL)
