California High School Softball - Mira Costa bounces La Serna
March 5, 2022: Whittier, CA 90605 Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host El Segundo for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Mira Costa will face a Eagles squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to South (Torrance, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, La Serna falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to face the Dons in a Del Rio challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Dons enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. El Rancho lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Whittier (Whittier, CA)
